da Vinci Surgical System Skills Training

Training Registration Process:

Surgeons interested in da Vinci Surgical System Skills training:

• Must have a da Vinci Surgical System at their hospital

• Must contact their Intuitive Representative or Distributor

-ISI Representative or Distributor must qualify surgeon for training by completing a clinical plan

-Representative must fill out the training registration form and submit the completed form to the Training Logistic Coordinator:

-Training openings will be filled based on availability and a completion of the required registration process

• Must complete an official onsite training session prior to attending system skills training in Orlando, FL

Da Vinci Surgical System training programs are not replacements for hospital policy regarding surgical credentialing. Intuitive Surgical only trains on the use of the surgical tool, the da Vinci Surgical System. Any demonstration(s) during the training on how to use the System to perform a particular technique or procedure is not the recommendation or "certification" of Intuitive as to such technique or procedure, but rather is merely a sharing of information on how other surgeons may have used the System to perform a given technique or procedure.
