Meet Eduardo Parra-Davila, MD
Eduardo Parra-Davila, MD, is one of only two surgeons in Osceola County to be board certified by the American College of Colorectal Surgery. Serving as Medical Director for the Minimally Invasive Abdominal Reconstruction and Colorectal Surgery Department at Florida Hospital Celebration Health, Dr. Parra is board certified in both general and colorectal surgery and an expert in abdominal wall reconstruction.
He has applied his expertise to train more than 1,000 surgeons on the latest techniques across the globe. In addition to his colorectal cancer and advanced abdominal surgery experience, Dr. Parra is also well versed in robotic-assisted and laparoscopic surgical techniques, complex hernia repairs in morbidly obese patients and minimally invasive surgeries.
EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND
Dr Parra-Davila is Board Certified in General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery. He completed his Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Texas Endosurgery Institute in San Antonio, Texas and Colon and Rectal Surgery at The University of Texas in Houston, Texas. His Residency was completed at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami, in Miami, Florida. He obtained his Medical Degree from The Universidad De Los Andes in Venezuela.
Dr. Parra Davila serves as Medical Director for Minimally Invasive Abdominal Reconstruction and Colorectal Surgery at Florida Hospital Celebration Health.
